| good to know that someone enjoys my knits. gosh, what a crazy day. 2:30 am, i am allegedly drinking coffee. don't remember. jake comes back in a bit later, i am asleep with the cup in my hands. hm. 8 am, wake up with crippling headache. am incredibly tired. wake up again at 9, get coffee, exhausted. take a shower, so tired that i don't go in to work until 1. gabe and i chitchat. i want to go to the thrift store to look for something to use as a display. boutique still hasn't called. 2 pm, heather comes in, totally wired. 2:30pmish, jen ambrose, one of my bestest friends from college, who i have not seen in ages, and her handsome boy, and i don't like kids or think they are cute, he is soooooo cute, and good, show up and hang out, whilst i sit outside and paint the frames, still, then sara, butter and simone's friend hung out with us...then, willis, a longtime friend who i never see stops in. i come home at 5, get ready, go to dinner with my mom and uncle, hubby and dad. he lives in australia, and is in the us for a convention in new orleans. i am trying to encourage him to bring me along as a companion in the future. he goes to posh places. he again told me how much they would like to have us, the live in an amazing house near the beach. oooooh. croooon. i hope we can so i can get to see my aunt and uncle and his girls. my brothers and i grew up sans relatives and i hate that. i hate that i don't know all the kids. it sucks. i will try to at least email them and try to keep up with their lives. on the same lines, i hate the fact that i lose touch with my friends, people that i love so much. i don't see them for a year or more, and it is like no time has passed at all when i see them. and i know that they know how incredibly i think they are. i hope so. i love ya jen! i hope you know it. and my awesome uncle bruce...ok, i'll shut up now... oh, also, knitwits called me yesterday to tell me that THE YARN HARLOT will be there signing books and hanging out in june, i will post the specifics and be sending out an email to those of you in my area. if anyone lives further away but wants to come, i could arrange a place to stay for ya. how exciting!! |
