can you see the sparkles?

i knitted up my first object out of my hand dyed and spun. it is on my flickr if you want to check it out. i am torn as to add more tassley things, it seems a bit boring without more? let me know.

also, last night i spun up this mermaid yarn, and used some sparkly fibers i got from michael's on sale, which worked. they aren't as fine as the spinning sparkleys, but it is cheap...

butter hung out we us last night. it was fun. i knitted and spun most of the time. he said that watching the wheel spin up yarn was mesmerizing.
