i worked all day yesterday, no breaks, it was busy busy. nice. heather came in for a bit and my mom came in and heckled clients, as usual. the scarf over yonder is my first item knitted from my homespun and dyed merino, and she tried it on and rubbed her face on it, i guess seeing if it was for her. um. nope. she looked at it longingly, said the colors were gorgeous yet no, "wow, this is so pretty, you did a great job!" it is hard to want to make things for someone that has everything and only covets it until it is hers.

i am back to working on jake's hand warmers, i am knitting them flat so i can control how they fit him, with the thumb holes, etc.

i have spun all of the fiber i dyed and went to spin some of the stuff i had bought and it just wasn't as fun. boring. i will spin it when i have a project in mind. i sent a package to boo, which hopefully she got yesterday. i will either do some dying today or to-morrow. yay!

The other day when you left me a comment about your SP I wrote you this big old long email and sent it but I don't think you got it. I think Blogspirit did instead. They sent me an email today telling me that if I wanted to reach them I had to use the help section, not emails. So here's the gist of what I wrote:

I'm sorry she sucks. That's just really crappy. How can people not be excited about this? It's fun! The girl who's gifting to me isn't the best. She leaves me a lot of comments, sends the occasional email, but so far I've only gotten one package. I'm not complaining, it's nice to have gotten one at least, but she keeps saying she's mailing another out and then it never comes. I just wish she'd stop getting my hopes up. So here it is, the last month, and all I've got was a little bag of candy. I, however, have spent WAY more than $50 on my SP who seems to appreciate the stuff I've sent, she's just not really a person I think I would like in real life. I'm still going to sign up for SP6. Maybe if we're lucky we can get each other in the next round and actually have a good time with it. :)
