the first ever yarn giveaway, installment 1
| so, at long last, here are the two skeins i finished yesterday, jacking up my back...somehow? this one...i will call "bitty" because green and pink remind me of 60's preppy clothes. pink with green whales or something. i spun about 100+ yards of it. and...and...i am willing to part with 50 yds for a scarf...or whatever you want to make with it. it is merino, really soft and angelina mother of pearl sparklies, which are super super soft, also. i love it so! the sparkle doesn't show up very well in the photos. i have more to come, so keep an eye on me...good luck! also, i went to the antique place at the end of the street and got a cupcake jar thing, so cute! and an old school scale to weigh fiber, really cute also, and a knitting bag, circa 1970 that someone will be getting with the yarn that they win. i didn't get a photo of it up yet. i couldn't get a good answer out of gabe about the booth at HA, so i think i will indeed share a booth with tara. if she will have me. i am so excited!!! yay!! also, amy will be moving back this weekend...she will be leaving for LA for a while and then starting school, so she will be a busy bee. good luck to her! not that she will need it! my hands are hurting, so i must go... xo, n. |
