i apparently ate low carb granola in bed last night, and there is granola everywhere.
i talked to the boutique..twice! and they called me! mm hmm. anyway, they want 25 breast cancer scarves. i am going to call and ask them if we can make a few different styles so i don't have to make the exact same thing over and over. i found some stuff online that will work, as for as texture and color. i am considering spinning the cream yarn myself so the money is miiiiine! i will get a novely yarn for the pink part, methinks. but i get 25-30 bucks per scarf, not including yarn, so that is good. plus the stuff i already made. also, i need to get cracking on the kids stuff for descendents boutique..fall is coming. are neckwarmers safe for little kids? those of you with kids, please let me know, i will but snaps or buttons to close them...i think that would be ok? i feel like a scarf certainly wouldn't be safe. right?
i spun some gorgeous yarn last night out of the roving that i dyed a week or so ago. it is mainly turqoise and pink, with variations in both color and some purple. it spun up so pretty.
i was searching for skeinwinders on ebay and on sites yesterday, i don't even have a niddynoddy, and use a metal shelf to wind skeins which works better than nothing, but not much. pain in the arse!
i have to go in to work today. i have an eyebrow touchup, a consultation on eyeliner, and i should try to pack some stuff up. i hate packing. i need to get boxes. or something. maybe i should just pick up some of those cheap plastics totes like they use on clean sweep.
we were going to go to ikea to get storage stuff for the studio and bookshelf, but i think maybe i should spend the time getting stuff organized so that i have a better idea of what i need. it seems so overwhelming. and i have to get the books all out of there and move them probably 3 times after all is said and done. and there are lotsa books!
i have been so pooped lately. i feel like i can never get enough done. it is incredibly frustrating.
the scarf in the photo is another one for the boutique...
