what day is it? where am i?
| man. i had one of those days where i am exhausted. like i just ran a marathon, but i didn't. i got up really late, jake went for a motorcycle ride, and dyed some roving. fun. i even let jake dye one. it is a bit red white and blue-ish, but it may spin up nicely. you never can tell. anyway, so i was just waiting for it to dry enough to spin something, and the exhaustion came back...and the aching. i admit a few silent tears ran down my cheek. jake rubbed my arms and legs for a bit and i calmed down. i feel like a kid with a broken leg over summer vacation when that happens. my soul is eager, my body is not doing it. no way, it says. na-uh. nope. anyway, i fell asleep for an hour and i feel better now. i am fighting myself not to spin. i sent boo her package and she left me a really sweet message that she liked it. she is such an adorable chica! adorable! i sent her sparkley yarn. i am getting to a point that if it isn't vibrant and sparkley, i don't like it. is that bad? i am working on the leaf cravat, it is coming along ok, lots of ripping back. if it isn't right, i pull it back out. i can't work on it if anything at all else is going on, so mainly i am only using it if no one is around. so only a bit at a time. i'll take pics to-morrow. ok, so here is the deal. a few of you have told me that you like my homespun yarn. i have told you time and time again that it is coming...i will be posting the yarn as it is spun, and will name them. i will make enough in one skein for a large needle scarf or something like that...if you are the first to comment that you want that skein, i will get your address, if i do not yet have it, and send some out to you, for free, because i love you, gentle reader. so, most likely, some will be up to-morrow, and more to come, post your comment, and quick and i will tell you who got it. got it? good. xo, n. |

The yarn is gorgeous. It is fabulous......no it is kick ass sparkly with a side of sassy! I adore it!
