| i totally forgot to say that i got some new books...i got alterknits but leigh radford and it is fantastic! amazing things in there, unlike you have seen anywhere else. also, i sold yarn on etsy! everytime i sell it, i get so excited. it is my first british customer. yay! i need to put more stuff on there. and i need to start spinning my ass off for the craft fair. and! i need to come up with a couple of pattern for the knit kits. maybe a simple crochet kit, too. sadly, i am too inexperienced at crochet to be making stuff up quite yet! i may just do a baby or adult hat for the kit...and a simple fingerless glove or armwarmer. with handspun bumpy yarn, you really could knit it flat and sew it, so it would be good for beginners. i hat knitting flat if i don't have to. my seams always look like poo. you know? ok, i need to catch up on blogs. also, i updated my flickr and labeled and categorized everything thank you very much! i still feel like my flickr is super lame. ah well. we do what we can. no? and still no name for the drumcarder...he works hard and is rough, but has a big heart? what is his name? c'mon, help a sister out. nighty night. n. |

I just finished a pair of fingerless gloves. I think it would be a good beginer project for working in the round. Like a 2x2 rib. Just an idea : )

Amalie German origin means hard worker
Emmett English origin means hard worker
Andreana Latin means strong and womanly
Bogard French means strong as a bow
Minka Teutonic means strong, resolute
Know, before you all go thinking I'm all smart and all. There is a name generator at babycenter.com. You can type in a meaning for a name, and it will try to find a name that matches it. I really like Ferrol and Bogard. Its hard to come up with a good name!! Good luck!
you speak my language! i was thinking just that, or maybe a simple hat...or maybe a neckwarmer, which is basically a mini scarf with a snap at the neck. i love em. i like emmet, like otter and minka...minka dinka.
emmet is good like emmet otter. love it.
