the obligatory march car accident

before you get all freaked out, everything is ok. this is the third march that jake has gotten into a car accident. this one was not too bad though, although it did really freak him out. someone pulled out and caused a chain reaction of people jamming on their brakes and jake rear-ending the car in front of him. the guy he rearended had a metal plate put in his neck recently from a previous car accident, and jake saw him slump to the side after hitting him and he was very alarmed. when he got to the guy's car, he looked really shaken and explained that he had had neck surgery, etc, but declined an ambulance, although he said he was going to the hospital. neither vehicle was too bad, just banged up, the vw's grill cracked and a plastic clip thing on the inside that secures the headlight snapped. the most damage was caused to jake who is really stressed out and freaked out and worried. he feels like it is sign of things to come. i am generally good at forecasting bad things, although not as well within my own family, but i don't feel anything funky. he is freaked to drive to work to-morrow, well you know, 3 a.m. it sucks.

nothing else really happened, i had a dr's appointment early, so woke up hours earlier, which is my usual thing, i am afraid i won't wake up, so i can't sleep. although i had a dream, not a nightmare, about helping shannon do dyeing. really exciting dreams, huh? yeah! it was! "and in my dream...you were there, and i was dyeing...".

i was so exhausted again today, i guess due to the migraine that i didn't do much of anything. sigh. although i stopped at the pharmacy and got one of those mascaras with the comby thing which makes your lashes, or really, my lashes look crazy. maybelline doesn't make my eyes itch, so i stick with them. and they don't test their stuff on bunnies, who never wear makeup anyway. you know? bunnies are naturally beautiful.

so, whilst driving home, there was an older woman obviously driving a stick, a really cute old bmw, racecar looking car. so, she is not accelerating so well, i can tell she is not shifting up. so she is going along, 15mph maybe. maybe a mile later...20-25. i think, well, she is older, maybe she is just a sucky driver. well, besides that, she is talking on a cellphone, holding it with her....right hand. and driving a stick. i beeped at her when i finally got around her moron ass and she didn't even notice. surprise! asshole. asshole. asshole. when i found out jake got in an accident, i asked him if it was that stupid woman. she is the sort that causes accidents, but doesn't get into it, or notice that she has caused it. asshole.

i got some awesome emails from readers about sewing and getting my act together...and then i went onto craftster and saw this awesome pattern that made me really want to learn. cause i would look cute in those tops. and i have super ideas for clothes...and i am poor, so that would be wonderful. so thanks guys! as usual, you rock!! i would love to be taught by someone that makes garments...you know? that is a seamstress or something. that would be so awesome. so anyone who lives in my vacinity that would like to trade something for lessons, or just my undying gratitude, let me know. ok?

i made some oatmeal bread today in the machine, i love adding stuff. i then made a simple tomato/oregano/basil/garlic sauce and braised the turkey burgers in the sauce, sprinkled it with parmesano reggiano and served it on warm bread for jake, who really liked it.

i am planning to do some embroidered projects, but need someone to convert the photos for me into a monochromatic image, and my friend that i had talked to about it is impossible to get a hold of. so. frustrating. sigh.

ok. off like a dirty shirt. i hope to do loads of work to-morrow. no. more. tired. got it? good.

thanks for all the love guys! and please send safe driving vibes for jakie and tell deer and other animules to stay in bed! it is too early! and dangerous!

smooch, smoooch, smooch, smooch,
n.

look how cute you are! Even in face mask!! I am glad Jake didn't get hurt in his accident! To repel deer go and get a set of those little deer repeller things (try the check out counter at BIG LOTS)..you just stick them on the bumper...they actually work!!!..

I'm glad he's alright. Josh and I have come so close to being in car accidents lately. I swear that everyone just goes nutty every now and then and not a single person can drive right. I was a mess the other day because every single car on the road was making me a nervous wreck.

I've just started to bake again. I do a lot of flavored breads (pumpkin, cran-orange, etc.) and sweet baked goods.
