and then...
 well, i got up, showered and started spinning. didn't even get my coffee first! or check mail! or anything! whoa! additionally, i kept putting off taking photos, skeined the multiple bobbins i had done and then it was dark out. so no photos. but i have some goodies to show you. i swear i will take em to-morrow. i swear. i suck. i know. that is basically all that i did, spin, ply, skein, steam. it was a productive day. nice. at the moment, pavel is sleeping next to jake. well, his body is mostly next to him, but they are both curled up facing each other and pavel's face is on top of jake's face. i tried to gently get him to move his face a bit to no avail. he does love his papa. he has the quietest (is that a word?) purr i have ever heard. our other two cats are like harley's. loud and constant. pavel only purrs around his papa. it is strange. i was just checking my stats and saw this link to my paper bead tutorial on this website's homepage. how very odd. i wish i did a better job on that thing as it is linked all over the damn place. i feel strange doing tutorials because most things you can just mess around with things until you get a result you are happy with. i had an email from a girl that said she lives in a small town and can't get origami paper what should she do to make paper beads? it is paper. tha tis the only rule, and that isn't even a rule, you could use fabric, books, newspaper, wrapping paper, whatever. anyway. a bit odd. what else? not much, oh...me and barbe are probably going to do a big new exciting project together. i am keeping it under wraps for the moment, just to feel special, really, but i will spill as soon as we have the specifics covered. it will be good. i assure you of this. we will be hanging out with friends this weekend (actually multiple plans! what? yes!) and! my hairdresser did give me an appointment next week, by which time i may be needing to use mascara on my hair. ah well. what can ya do? xo n. |

donna, you are so sweet! they are, in fact, the cutest. ever. of all times.
